Boarding at Dragon School

There is a variety of boarding options available to cater for all student’s preferences; full boarding, weekly boarding, flexi boarding and occasional boarding. This allows students to try out and find what suits them best, or to slowly adapt to full boarding without the initial shock of being away from home permanently.

In an aim to make boarding as fun as possible and to keep pupils entertained and busy at all times, weekend activities are organised on a regular basis to theme parks, paintballing, theatre trips, laser tag and more. In addition, on an every day basis there are activities available such as board games, movie nights and puzzles. Th outside space is greatly appreciated in the summer months and students enjoy playing outside and gardening.

Houseparents ensure students are looked after 24/7, and the level of pastoral care in the school is exceptional, so rest assured that your child will be cared for extremely well. Former students speak highly of their boarding experience at Dragon School, saying they created long lasting friendships, an excellent relationship with the staff, and a powerful sense of independence.
