Dragon School is a co-educational day and boarding school located in Oxford for students aged 4-13. There are two sites, one site for the Pre-Prep and one for the Prep school. Both are beautifully located with incredible facilities, which together with supportive and passionate teachers allows students to thrive and reach their full potential.
A recent ISI report said this about the school: “Pupils demonstrate outstanding attitudes to learning, strongly fulfilling the school’s aims to inspire, encourage, and develop free-thinking, confident young people who ‘reach for the sun’”.
Dragon School is proud to have many famous alumni who have continued to work towards reaching their potential. Actors such as Emma Watson and Jack Whitehall all started their journeys at Dragon School, demonstrating the amazing start that the school can provide all students.

Boarding at Dragon School
There is a variety of boarding options available to cater for all student’s preferences; full boarding, weekly boarding, flexi boarding and occasional boarding. This allows students to try out and find what suits them best, or to slowly adapt to full boarding without the initial shock of being away from home permanently.
In an aim to make boarding as fun as possible and to keep pupils entertained and busy at all times, weekend activities are organised on a regular basis to theme parks, paintballing, theatre trips, laser tag and more. In addition, on an every day basis there are activities available such as board games, movie nights and puzzles. Th outside space is greatly appreciated in the summer months and students enjoy playing outside and gardening.
Houseparents ensure students are looked after 24/7, and the level of pastoral care in the school is exceptional, so rest assured that your child will be cared for extremely well. Former students speak highly of their boarding experience at Dragon School, saying they created long lasting friendships, an excellent relationship with the staff, and a powerful sense of independence.
