On our leafy, 100-acre site amid the Surrey Hills we have space for all the sport, drama, music, hobbies, and intellectual pursuits a young mind can take. Boarding at King Edward’s School, Witley
King Edward’s is a thriving community with four senior boys and two senior girls houses for day, weekly and flexi boarders. Lower school pupils in Years 7 and 8 reside in Queen Mary House, an impressive family-oriented building steeped in history. Each House has a pastoral team consisting of a House parent and assistant House parent, Matron and an academic tutor. Additionally, there is a 24-hour Medical Centre and an on-site chaplain. Each House has its own pupil team of House Prefects and Head of House who are another body of people to listen, support and represent the pupil voice in daily school life. The core focus of each pastoral team is pupil welfare, whatever their need may be. Every House parent’s aim is to make their House a home during term time and to ensure that opportunities are provided for all our pupils to thrive.
