About Woldingham School

Woldingham School

Founded in 1842, Woldingham is a leading girls’ school, set in 700 acres of beautiful English countryside but within easy access of Gatwick and Heathrow airports and London Victoria.

Examination results are consistently outstanding and ‘Value Added’ scores, which measure academic achievement relative to initial ability, place Woldingham in the top 7% of all schools in the UK over the last five years. Not surprisingly, the school is marching up the league tables and has secured 18 Oxbridge offers in the last two years.

Woldingham is a purposeful and happy community with a fully integrated mix of boarders, day girls and nationalities. The girls make friends for life and as a result, the alumnae network is extremely active, both socially and professionally. With over 80 co-curricular activities on offer in any week, there is always plenty going on.

Woldingham’s exceptional pastoral care is widely recognised. The aim is to realise the potential for every individual girl and the entire staff is dedicated to providing care and support to all students.
